Hi Everyone,

So basically I decided a blog that no one knows about, though convenient, is also very little fun, so I decided to actually update This one. I'm leaving for church in a couple of hours, and after I have a double date with this guy who seems really sweet so we'll see how that goes. I've been single for almost 9 months now, and I think I'm long overdue for a real, no exceptions, date.

My friends, (who will be the only ones to read this) will tell you that during my last relationship I was a tad (yeah yeah guys I know) attached. This time though, I've learned a lot about relationships (largely through trial and error) and I'm hoping that maybe this one might find me doing less that will make me cringe later.

You know, I thought about it yesterday, and love is very very odd. A very wise man once said, "To live is like to love, all reason is against it and all healthy instinct for it." I mean, it usually finds us in a very strange, unconventional way the second we stop looking. As if that weren't enough, we can't actually Choose who we fall in love with, so whether it's the crazy leather lovin' biker for the conservative bible thumper or the redneck hunter who loves Nascar in love with the big city girl, love is unique for the fact that it rarely knows status, color, age (to a point), or finance.

So that got me started thinking, what if we reacted to people the way we fall in love? Determined to find the good in them instead of seeing them by a stereotype based on something they can't change. Is the idea of a perfect world all that impossible? Yeah we're not going to get along with everyone, but if we were determined to find the good in the 'stoners' or the 'sluts' then maybe they wouldn't feel the need to go out for the attention.

I know I'm rambling and being idealistic here, but it's something to think about, thoughts?
